Developing your brand’s personality is a very challenging task because you have to appeal to your target market needs and values, exhibit your intelligence and sense of humor while keeping everything professional at the same time. Yes, it is very difficult but the payoff is really worthy over time. But imagine to become a strong influence on others.

Guidelines to help you to create a remarkable brand’s personality

  1. Know who you are

Most of the time we become so focused on our business product and logistic more than our core values and personality. And we tend to jump to the market without knowing clearly who we are and once in the market we adapt to the uncertainty. What attract humans to other humans in a first sight commonly is their look and their personality. And a great combination of look, personality and product makes them irresistible. Same happens to a company.

Plan who you want to be for your audience before launching your products or services to the market to get better results attracting customers.

  1. Identify your audience and their needs

If you know who you are you will know who you want to get to. And then, you can assure what you have offer to cover their needs.

This part is the soul of the work we have done knowing who we are and knowing our audience. We will be able to define how to talk to our audience. Do we want to sound elegant, serious, knowledgeable, funny, juvenile, innocent? You can choose as much types as necessary but avoid inconsistency as it might confuse your audience.

  1. Be Reliable

One way to build trust is to be consistent about your personality in every platform. If you are very formal in your Website and social media. It is very important to be formal in your communication with customers via email or in person too. . If you’re a certain type of brand (funny or juvenile), posting from the opposite end of the spectrum can disrupt your efforts quickly. Also remember to make testing about your strategies to measure if they’re working for successful results.

  1. Use Feedback

Remember it is ok if there are some who don’t like your product or service but do not discard to use any feedback to do extra analysis or to keep in mind certain type of audience you might have to avoid. Respond any type of comment even if they are negative but also avoid to sound generic.
